ASMU ranks 194th in Russia and 4471st in the world. This public university offers training programs through its 25,000 professionals to regional healthcare system. ASMU enthusiastically promotes scientific projects, clinical research and innovations in the field of science and technology. ASMU has offered thousands of skilled doctors by giving practical exposure through its affiliated hospitals for providing training and internship. ASMU has a medical research and educational complex in collaboration with a Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Accommodation facility

Altai State Medical University offers comfortable accommodations to its international students.
It has 5 hostels with fully furnished facilities with the room being spacious that makes living abroad a stress free experience. These hostels allow the students to choose their preference to live in a shared or separate room. Moreover, there are 8 to 10 common kitchen facilities available which ensures enough and good quality food is served to students. Indian food is served in the mess.
In dormitories, accommodation needs of disabled students are well taken care of by allotting first floors of the building and its rooms with special equipment. Dormitories facilitate different rooms for study, recreational activity, and laundry.
Students safety is their priority and hence, a firm alarm and CCTV surveillance system is well installed.
