Zaporizhzhia State Medical University
Zaporizhzhia State Medical University is a medical school in the Ukrainian town of Zaporizhzhia. Zaporizhzhia State Medical University is a modern, multi-profile, 4th level accredited higher education institution with the right to autonomous management. The educational institutions were relocated from Odessa to Zaporozhy in 1959, and the institute was renamed Zaporizhzhia Medical Institute in 1968. The institute was granted the status of State Medical University in 1994, allowing it to provide higher education services such as bachelor’s, master’s, specialist, and postgraduate studies, internships, doctoral studies, pharmacists, and so on. It is one of Ukraine’s oldest and best medical higher education institutions. It has gained authority and recognition for more than 40 years by training foreign citizens from Europe, Latin America, the United States, Canada, Asia, and Africa. More than 3500 specialists have received medical and pharmaceutical education and are now working in more than 100 countries, holding high positions in their countries’ public health systems.
This university has over 50 departments and over 5000 students, both national and international, pursuing graduate and postgraduate degrees in medical education. This university created an infrastructure with a high level of teaching and learning that allows students to compete on a global scale.
