CPS stands for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Mumbai. It is a registered medical organisation in Mumbai that promotes postgraduate specialised medical training to address India’s scarcity of expert medical doctors. The institution’s origins may be traced back to 1913. This college was authorised in accordance with the Royal College of England and founded as a comparable entity to the “Royal College of Surgeons in London“.

CPS Eligibility Criteria
The entrance standards for the College of Physicians and Surgeons are clear and uncomplicated. Candidates wishing to pursue Diploma/Fellowship/Certificate programmes at this school must hold an MBBS or an equivalent certification recognised by the Medical Council of India
To be admitted to any CPS affiliated medical college or institution in India, candidates must pass an MCI-recognized MBBS test. Prior to admission, all applicants must present a Certificate of Eligibility and be registered with the Medical Council of Maharashtra or the State Medical Council.
