      MBBS admission in Russia is a 30-40 day procedure.

      State universities are those who get grants from the government. Students from across the world have access to these universities to pursue undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees. On the other hand, Federal universities are part of state universities but are specially established for the development of the Russian’s economy. As a result, they get extra financial aid from the government. This allows Federal universities to provide more infrastructure for conducting research.

      Yes, Indian food is available in Russia. There are a good number of restaurants having Indian cuisine in their menu. Moreover, university messes do serve Indian cuisine, so studying MBBS in Russia for Indians will become quite easy.

      Medium of Instruction used by Russian universities is English. Each English Medium Medical University offers international courses. However, clinical training mostly is conducted in the Russian language because students have to attend to the patients. Hence, the university teaches specific Russian terminology related to MBBS.

      July & August are the months of holidays in Russia for MBBS students. During this time they can visit their home country to meet their family. If their university allows it, MBBS international students can do an internship in their home country.

      Yes. On completing MBBS in Russia, Indian students need to clear the NMC screening examination to do an internship in India. 

      FMGE exam is compulsory for Indian students after doing MBBS in Russia. However, it is likely to be replaced by NExT exam. It will be a common exam for both Indian as well as foreign medical graduates.

      Students get unlimited chances to appear for FMGE exam for MBBS, which is taken twice in a year i.e. June & December.
