MBBS Course Duration
The total course duration of the Georgian American University is 6 years of which 5 years is for theoretical education of medical education and the last one year is used for the internship.
The 5 year academic program is conducted in 10 separate semesters dealing with important areas of medicine, like Anatomy and Histology in the 1st and 2nd semester.
Biochemistry, Histology and Physiology in the 3rd semester, Physiology, Anatomy and Microbiology in the 4th semester, Pharmacology, Micro-Biology, Pathology, and Path-physiology are taught in the 5th semester.
General Surgery, Oncology, Internal Medicine, Gynaecology, ENT, Neurology, Emergency Medicine, Psychology, and Cardiology are important topics of the 6th to 10th semester.
